Hoard Hunter is an online game developed by Barry at clearskys.net in order to provide a fun way of raising money for charity.

The aim of this game is to raise money for Oxfam and the Gurkha welfare trust. In addition to running the game online, I will also be attempting to run/trek/crawl 100km non stop in under 30 hours across the South of England as part of my fund raising efforts.

All of the money generated by this game will be added to my other fund raising and the total given the the charities.

Please note in the quote above, that every single penny donated through this site will go to charity. I will personally add any money PayPal takes back to the total, and the cost of the 2Gb iPod shuffle prize will come directly out of my pocket.

How will the donations be used?

Oxfam will use the money raised in its work to end poverty all over the world.

Long-term development work

$8 could pay for two school text books

$80 could buy a donkey. A donkey can carry large loads over long distances, plus there is the bonus of free fertiliser.

$120 could buy essential medicines for a whole community for six months

Gurkha welfare trust

$20 can buy a blackboard for a school classroom

$500 can repair the roof of a school.
