The Hoster of all games within the 'Hoard Hunter' platform is Online Virtual Detecting Ltd whose head office is 169 Union Street, Oldham, United Kingdom, OL1 1TD and from hereon-in will be referred to as 'Hoard Hunter', 'we' or 'us'.
Laws & Regulations
The Hoard Hunter virtual metal detecting games are not considered gambling because the generally accepted definition of gambling involves three specific things: (1) the award of a prize, (2) paid-in consideration (meaning entrants must pay to compete) and (3) an outcome determined on the basis of chance.
Without all three of these elements, a game that rewards real prizes is not gambling. In the case of Hoard Hunter's virtual metal detecting games, entrants are not required to pay to enter our games and outcomes are not determined by chance, but are rather achieved through a player's skill or ability, making our virtual detecting games legal in most countries.
Official Partners
Although Hoard Hunter is the official host of each of the prize winning games, we have an 'Official Partner' that is responsible for providing the prizes for the games on offer.
Official Partners are required to provide the relevant prizes to the winners, whilst all related financial obligations are between Hoard Hunter and the Official Partners.
In the absence of an Official Partner, Hoard Hunter will be responsible for providing the associated prizes for the games on offer.
Prize Games
Hosting
Whilst Hoard Hunter will host the virtual metal detecting games, we may also host additional games for third parties, including, but not limited to recognised persons/businesses relevant to the metal detecting hobby.
Third party hosts are responsible for providing the following information:
a. A selection of prizes to win;
b. Choosing run time(s) and date(s);
c. Writing a full description; and
d. Promotion/marketing.
Hoard Hunter commission will be deducted from the total revenue received upon the closing of the game.
Hoard Hunter will pay to despatch prizes within 72 hours of a winner claiming their prize to the address provided by said winner, excluding games taking place over a weekend, which be despatched within 72 hours from the following Monday.
Hoard Hunter reserves the right to cancel any game at their discretion and refund participants in full with tokens to their account.
Entry
Only registered users of Hoard Hunter are eligible to enter the games hosted on https://hoardhunter.com.
To be eligible to register an account, to participate in any of our games or receive services, you must:
a. Be a natural person who is at least 18 years of age or older, and who is personally assigned to the email address submitted during your account registration;
b. Have the power to enter into a contract with Hoard Hunter;
c. Be physically located within a country in which participation in our games is unrestricted by that country's laws; and
d. At all times abide by these Terms and Conditions.
If any one of these requirements is not met at any time, we may suspend or close your account with or without notice.
In order to take part in our virtual metal detecting games, each user must have relevant free/paid games available on their account.
Entry into any Hoard Hunter game must be from users within the United Kingdom.
Prize delivery is only available within the UK, unless an agreement has been made in advance with Hoard Hunter or the third party supplier.
Please ensure you are within the delivery areas as specified by our chosen supplier.
Winner Notifications
Winners will be notified immediately after the completion of a game via the email address provided at registration.
Winners will receive an automated email providing information on their prize and instructions on how to proceed with delivery.
Winners will be required to provide Hoard Hunter with their preferred delivery address.
This can be performed within the 'Delivery Address' tab of the 'My Account' page or at the time of claiming their prize.
All prizes must be claimed within 14 days after the completion of a game.
Failure to claim a prize within this timeframe can result in forfeiture of the prize (at the discretion of Hoard Hunter).
Please ensure contact is made as soon as possible after the completion of a game in which you are a winner.
We offer the facility to exchange any prizes won (excluding virtual prizes and physical prizes exceeding £50.00 in value) to our virtual currency (Tokens).
Disputes
If a game is disputed, it will be immediately investigated by Hoard Hunter's Customer Compliance.
Users have a 90 day period from the completion of a game to make a dispute.
Delivery of all winning prizes is free to the winner and we aim to despatch prizes within 72 hours of a winner claiming their prize, excluding games taking place over a weekend, which will be despatched within 72 hours from the following Monday.
Some prizes may require a signature upon arrival.
Once a prize has been despatched, all communications regarding the delivery or any failure by the courier to deliver is a matter between the supplier, courier and recipient.
The majority of prizes will be processed and supplied by an Official Partner and delivered by their preferred courier.
Prizes not supplied by an Official Partner may be delivered by any other courier or mail service, at the discretion of the host.
If the supplier fails to provide the prize to the winner within 21 days of the draw date, Hoard Hunter will either provide an alternative prize or the monetary value of the item. The monetary value will be the retail value minus relevant taxes.
Whilst users from outside the UK are welcome to participate, winners of prizes requiring dispatch outside of the UK will be required to provide a UK delivery address.

Miscellaneous
By entering any game hosted on Hoard Hunter, the entrant indicates his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.
Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant's prior consent.
Any ideas or suggestions that are given to Hoard Hunter, if utilised at any time, are provided under the agreement that they are given freely and not under any restriction on use. Unless an agreement has been made, in writing and authenticated by both parties, as to their use, they will be considered the property of Hoard Hunter to use as they see fit.
In the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of our control, we reserve the right to cancel or amend games and these terms and conditions without notice. Any changes to the games will be notified to entrants as soon as possible.
Neither Contract Partner shall be liable for any delay or failure in performing any of its obligations hereunder, if such delay or failure is, either wholly or partly, due to force majeure conditions such as floods, earthquakes or other acts of God, or any acts of any governmental body or public enemy, wars, riots, embargoes, epidemics, fires, major internet breakdown, mechanical breakdowns, lack of necessary utilities, labour unrest, transport problems or any other causes, circumstances or contingencies beyond the control of such Party ("Force Majeure Event").
Our games are in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Apple Inc., Facebook, Twitter or any other Social Network. You are providing your information to Hoard Hunter and not to any other party.
