How It Works
Game Play
The aim of Hoard Hunter is to search and dig up various finds such as coins, artefacts and other non-ferrous items, which are all worth points that go towards your games total score.
Once you have started a new game, you'll be taken to the land we have been permitted to detect on.
When you're on the land, you can move around using your mouse to click on the directional arrows, your keyboards arrow keys on PC/laptop or even swipe around on your touch-screen device.
With footpaths, pasture, plowed fields and even water to dig in, you'll soon discover if you've found a point scoring item to move you up the leaderboard.
In each game you will get a set amount of dig attempts (dependent on the size of the land and finds within) to find as many point scoring items as possible. Each player will have 2 free games to play per day, but note that free games do not rollover and must be played on the day that they are awarded.
The land on which you detect will change once during the month, at around the half-way point (midnight 14th in February or midnight 15th in any other month).
Hoard Hunter will finish at midnight on the final day of the month, with the highest scoring players at that time winning a prize.
The Finds
There are many finds in each Digger Digs game, such as coins, jewelry, artifacts as well as the occasional soda can and bottle cap, you never know what you'll find!
Uniquely to Hoard Hunter, there are are Hoard Hunter tokens to be found, with games containing tokens worth £3, £5 or £10 that will be instantly added to your account balance to spend on any of our games.
In each and every Hoard Hunter game, the finds are placed completely randomly, with each game having the same amount of items in them.
Searching and digging up those finds is the key to getting to the top of the prize leaderboard.
The Leaderboard
Your single highest scoring game, each and every day, will be added to your total monthly score and the highest scoring players at the end of the month will one of the awesome Hoard Hunter leaderboard prizes.
Your single highest scoring game is the best score of any single game on a given day, it is not the total score of all games played on any one day.
In the event of 2 players obtaining the same total monthly score, the first player to score that score will attributed with the higher position.
Each player in Hoard Hunter can only win one prize, should they achieve a score high enough to finish in a prize winning position.
All winning players will be notified the following day after Hoard Hunter has finished.
Additional Games
If you're unhappy with your current highest scoring game for the day, you may use your token balance to purchase extra games to play. These are not additional dig attempts on an existing game, these are full and complete games.
There is no guarantee that the additional games will allow you to beat your highest scoring game as each game is completely random.
You can purchase 4 additional games for 1 token, with the games awarded being available and valid until you use them.
